2014 Tuono V4R APRC for sale

    Hi,
I bought this bike back in Feb and i don't think it's the bike for me. Whilst it's an awesome bike I just don't think I need a bike with this kind of power, it's wasted on me! The bike is a 2014 bike, I bought it brand new but it was a pre reg so it had been sitting in the showroom. Obviously it had 0 miles when I took it. It now has 800 miles and has had its first service. It is in absolutely immaculate condition. It's been covered up in my garage (the cleanest room in my house!) and has never even seen a drop of rain. I do have finance out on this bike but after speaking to the finance company this is obviously tied to me, I am happy to pay off the finance if the bike sells on the phone with the buyer in front of me.

Being so new this bike still has plenty of warranty on it. I have the service stamp for the first service and all the documentation that came with it. The bike is completely standard, it's the black / white version.

I live in witney near oxford. I'm looking for 10k for the bike, this would be a good saving on a brand new one if you could still get the 1000cc version. I am open to offers but I won't budge much from 10k

    Thanks for looking
    Lee

    Hi,
I just don't like the riding position with that amount of power, I had a Gsxr 750 before and I prefer the low down position, it feels more secure. Probably haven't seen me as I haven't ridden much!

Well there a cracking bike and being upright usually makes it easier to ride unless you doing 140 or more,PM me if your around on the Tuono or another bike if you get one

Its perfectly stable I just find that with a higher centre of gravity it tends to wheelie very easily and when it does it is much more apparent due to the riding position. Its just not the bike for me.

I think you should have a ride out with a couple of us so you can see what its capable of,get used to it a bit more before you sell it as Im sure once you get used to the style of bike you will think differently

Set the wheelie control to 3 and you'll never have to worry about unwanted lift again.

    Lee,

I must agree, seems you went straight in at deep end. Your probably a more experienced rider than I but to be fair, using max power on a V4R can't be the best to get acquainted with it. My Tuoldo seemed unduly light on the front end in the first few hundred miles, when pulling hard at higher speeds... to the extent it seemed unstable... coming from a faired sport bike with clip-ons. But now seems rock solid as I've got the feel for it.

But if you only wanted a drag bike, you don't want one with a short wheel base which turns in quick on the twisties!!

Each to his own, but you got a great T (yep, jealous!) and you can't go far wrong taking fellow Ape owners invite to go for group run before losing her! Besides, you might even fall in love!

PS: Did you try the traction control on 3? If so, I assume it curtailed the power too much for your liking.
