    Yesterdays project.........

I managed to source a VERY low miles 2016 Tuono V4 Factory gearbox a few months ago.

It was on ebay from a USA seller (bike breaker) and it was up for a ridiculously low "buy it now" price.

So............I thought fuck it and bought it as a spare.

Well yesterday I decided as I was dropping the oil for a service that I would take the plunge and swap gearboxes too.

I am glad I did as the shift spring locating pin had worked loose and had backed out by around quarter of an inch (known ape problem).

    The offending peg, bottom left>>>

sir I take my hat off to you , for having the bravery to contemplate doing the job outside . if I started such a job 5 mins after starting it , it ,d either piss down or the wind speed would be gale force 9 and blow up a dust storm ..
nice job and good job you spotted that before disaster srtikes .

Braver than me! Interesting post in that a non-mechanic like me doesn't often get to see the inner workings like that.

Your bike made me chuckle though, in that it looks like my new bike (17 Factory) crashed into the back of my old bike (13 V4R)
    Thanks from Rizla
